SCD hunk Matt Di Angelo has waltzed his way into a role on the BBC smash Hustle. The former EastEnders star is to make a surprise guest appearance in the drama.
And the 21-year-old actor – who sparked rumours that he was romancing sexy dance partner Flavia Cacace, 28, on Strictly – will soon find out that “the con is on”.
Matt is to play an unscrupulous property developer who, along with his scheming partner, has been ripping people off and raking in the cash. However, the Hustle gang find out about it and target the pair as their latest marks. A show insider said: We’ve got some big names making appearances in the new series. Matt is just one in a long list of famous faces lined up. This should prove a great series. Matt has also landed his first major stage role in Loot at The Tricycle Theatre in London next year.

Matt's Management Client Update


Matt Di Angelo, will be starring as Hal in Loot at the Tricycle Theatre which opens in December and plays to the end of January 2009, with a possible West End transfer. Matt was seen in his final scenes as Deano Wicks in Eastenders in February and also enjoyed huge success in Strictly Come Dancing. He will also be playing a guest lead in the next series of the extremely popular series Hustle, for the BBC.

Matt in Loot

A masterpiece of black farce, Loot follows the fortunes of two young lads, Dennis and Hal, who hijack Hal's mother’s coffin to stash the loot from a recent heist.

The plot thickens as her body keeps turning up around the house, and an unscrupulous police arrives.
